Equiping participants with the tools to foster a friendly, understanding approach towards wellbeing.
Developing new Erasmus+ partnerships.

“Inviting a monkey to tea: befriending your mind” is a training course for youth workers that helps them develop skills related to their personal and social relationship. These skills will help them assist young people in managing their personal and social relationship, contribute to their mental wellbeing and help them better integrate into society. Just as one might invite a monkey to tea to gently tame its wild impulses, youth workers will learn techniques to help youngsters acknowledge and calm their turbulent thoughts and emotions. This training aims to equip participants with the tools to foster a friendly, understanding approach towards wellbeing. The training courses consist of practical exercises delivered via non-formal education.

The project ensures sustainability by equipping youth workers with practical tools and methods they can continue using in their daily work with young people, long after the training ends. The skills and approaches learned are transferable and adaptable to different contexts, allowing participants to integrate them into various youth programs and community activities. Additionally, the focus on building Erasmus+ partnerships supports future collaborations and follow-up initiatives, further enhancing the project’s lasting value.
