Prevention of corruption

Center for Education and Development MAGENTA, through the project “Prevention of corruption through the empowerment and networking of young people at the regional level”, is raising the awareness of young people from Bor District about the fight against corruption. Youth engagement is essential for success in combating corruption; young people represent a significant part of the population and are generally more open to social change and political transformation, because they have less interest in maintaining the existing state of society. Educating young people about the fight against corruption is a necessary approach to encourage behavioral change in our society. The direct target group of the project is young people (17-25 years old) who are high school students, high school graduates, students, who live in Eastern Serbia, including cities, municipalities and rural communities of the Bor District. The project will involve a group of 80 young people. This project is financed through the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, with funds from the Budget of the Republic of Serbia. The trainings that will be organized as part of the project are free, and each participant will receive a Certificate of Participation.
